Does Elpidophoros’s teaching on heresy base itself on the Holy Tradition of the Church?
NO!
Elpidophoros’s teaching is foul-smelling darkness straight from the deepest pits of hell, a blasphemous false teaching far removed from the sober doctrine of our Holy Fathers!
Rooted in the Greek verb haireomai (to choose), the Fathers highlighted that a heretic is fundamentally a one who chooses their own doctrines rather than receiving the faith given by the Apostles.
According to the Church Fathers (such as Irenaeus, Tertullian, and Augustine), heresy does three primary things:
it distorts the divine truth of Scripture,
fractures the unity of the Church,
and jeopardizes the eternal salvation of souls.

St. Theodore argued that one must immediately break communion with any bishop or leader who teaches or promotes heretical doctrines. To knowingly remain in communion with a heretic is to separate oneself from Christ. He maintained that sacraments performed by those who persist in heresy are invalid. He strictly forbade Orthodox believers from receiving communion or participating in services alongside clerics who embraced heterodox teachings.

This is an especially sad case, and I wonder at the complete silence of Finland’s "bishops" regarding his Freemason connections.
Apparently, Ambrosius WAS a Freemason, but he was asked to resign. However, he organizes lectures on Freemasonry and other esoteric themes at the "Orthodox" Cultural Center Sofia.
It is therefore completely obvious that he has NOT repented of his satanic connections to the Freemasons.
Ambrosius is allowed to operate completely freely and organize all kinds of "meditation retreats" and theosophy lectures without any kind of opposition within the hierarchy of the Finnish "Orthodox church."
